On 15 December 2020, the European Commission published its Digital Services Act Package which will profoundly change the way companies offer and use digital services in the EU. The package aims to modernize the EU’s legal framework for digital services and consists of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA). 

The package will significantly impact the majority of companies offering digital services, their business users and customers, as well as large online “gatekeeper” platforms.
