Op dinsdag 13 april organiseert ECP de Deelnemersspecial: data delen zonder controle te verliezen. Samen met de Data Sharing Coalition, Nederlandse AI Coalitie, TNO en de Internationale Data Space Association (IDSA) worden een aantal concrete en praktische use cases besproken. Hierbij ligt de focus op wat data delen nu precies oplevert, welke partijen hierbij betrokken zijn en hoe dit in de praktijk georganiseerd is. 

Data sharing, oftewel het delen van data, versnelt innovatie. Denk aan betere behandelmethoden in de zorg door het veilig delen van patiëntgegevens. Of bijvoorbeeld digitalisering van papieren processen en gebruik van data voor kunstmatig intelligente toepassingen. Door het combineren van verschillende gegevensbronnen ontstaan nieuwe maatschappelijke en (zakelijke) kansen. Data delen kan de procesefficiëntie in ketens verder vergroten. Maar hoe kunnen we op een veilige en verantwoorde manier gebruikmaken van deze kansen? Veel organisaties willen graag controle houden over hun data en dit enkel gecontroleerd delen met andere partijen. In deze ECP Deelnemersspecial wordt ingegaan op de manieren waarop organisaties data kunnen delen, zonder hierbij de controle te verliezen. 

ECP organiseert deze deelnemersspecial als onderdeel van een serie, waarin principes van digitale samenwerking tussen organisaties worden besproken. Deze samenwerkingsprincipes zijn gebaseerd op het Europese streven naar autonomie en soevereiniteit. De webinars behandelen deelonderwerpen als interoperabiliteit van contracten, van standaarden, de betrouwbaarheid van data uitwisseling en onderliggende cloud-infrastructuur, de interoperabiliteit van data en digitale identiteit.

On Tuesday, April 13, ECP is organizing the webinar: Data sharing without losing control, in collaboration with the Data Sharing Coalition, NL AI Coalition (NL AIC), TNO and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA). During the webinar, a number of concrete and practical use cases will be discussed. The focus will be on what data sharing actually delivers, which parties are involved and how this works practically.

Data sharing accelerates innovation. Think of better treatment methods in healthcare by securely sharing patient data. Or, for example, digitization of paper processes and use of data for AI applications. Combining different data sources creates new social and (business) opportunities. Data sharing can further increase process efficiency in supply chains. But how can we make use of these opportunities in a safe and responsible way? Many organizations would like to maintain control over their data and only share it in a controlled way with other shareholders. The IDSA will explain what work has been done on international data sharing standards, so that data sharing within and between sectors can be carried out in an easy and controlled manner. The first implementations have already been realized. After the webinar it is possible to discuss specific questions interactively with the speakers in separate virtual rooms.

ECP is organizing this webinar as part of a series, which discusses principles of digital collaboration between organizations. These collaboration principles are based on the European commitment to autonomy and sovereignty. The webinars cover subtopics such as interoperability of contracts and standards, the reliability of data exchange and underlying cloud infrastructure, data interoperability and digital identity.
