e-BL
We see the digitisation of the Bill of Lading as an important step towards making ports around the world, safer, faster, more efficient and sustainable. We are therefore actively reaching out to carriers, shippers, banks, logistics service providers and all other relevant stakeholders in the Netherlands and beyond, to work with them on setting an open standard for transfer of title.

Ambition
Our ultimate goal is to be able to use the e-BL as soon as possible as an equivalent alternative to the paper bill of lading in international trade. To achieve this, we will scale up our current e-BL project to a consortium. We would like to invite you to a session on 8 September in which we explain our plans and discuss the follow-up process with you.
