EU Taxonomy: Learnings so far

EU Taxonomy: Learnings so far

The EU Taxonomy Regulation is developing rapidly. As part of the European Commission’s Sustainable Finance Action Plan, it is intended to help direct capital towards sustainable activities. And although further details have been released, significant debate on the implementation of the Regulation continues.

In KPMG’s first EU Taxonomy webinar we covered what the EU Taxonomy Regulation means for corporates and what first steps to take. Now that the first deadline of Q1 2022 is approaching, we would like to share lessons learned and challenges faced by corporates during implementation.

In this webinar we will cover:
•      How can you determine the eligibility and alignment of your activities?
•      How to understand and apply the EU definitions of Capex, Opex and turnover? What to include
          in Opex?
•      How do you deal with challenges in data collection and robustness of your reporting process?
•      How can the EU Taxonomy Disclosures be integrated into your broader ESG strategy and
         reporting narrative?

Speakers:
•      Gijs de Graaff, Solution lead EU taxonomy, KPMG AAS
•      Vera Moll, EU taxonomy subject matter expert, KPMG Sustainability

We’re looking forward to your attendance.
